If you know the exact name of the account you wish to browse, you can simply type https://www.instagram.com/username into your browser where username stands for the exact handle of the account you're interested in (minus the @ symbol).

If you forget or don't know your Instagram username, you can still log in using your phone number or email address associated with your account. Once you log in, you'll be able to find your username at the top of your profile.

Search for their real name Go to Search. Type the person's first and/or last name into the box. See if any of the profiles that come up match the person you're looking for.

The only way to see someone's private Instagram profile or stories is to follow their account. Unfortunately, there are no workarounds—you'll need to tap the Follow button on their profile and wait for the person to approve your request. Beware of apps that claim they can get around Instagram privacy settings.
